Code Like a Girl Bootcamp – Tongaat
Hosted & Sponsored by Bellissimo Lifestyle

Empowering Girls Through Code & Sport

Inspiration in Sports, in partnership with Vodacom and Bellissimo Lifestyle, is proud to bring the Code Like a Girl (CLAG) Bootcamp to Tongaat. This community was chosen due to the recent hardships faced from the floods and the devastating tornado, with the aim of rebuilding hope through opportunity and empowerment.

What is Code Like a Girl?
Vodacom’s Code Like a Girl programme introduces underprivileged girls (ages 14–18) to the basics of coding and STEM career paths. It aims to close the gender gap in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths by building a pipeline of skilled young women for the future.

Beyond Coding:
This bootcamp also includes a sports programme to build confidence, self-worth, and inspiration through female role models. Led by Dawn Dunn, this initiative seeks to spark real transformation in how young girls view themselves and their future.
